Their problem
We-Vibe came to us with a couple of problems: their copy was lacking in personality, and just not hitting the tone they were going for. They were also seeing inconsistent product messaging across brand touchpoints.
All of it was getting in the way of communicating a clear customer message — and making their best possible sales.
Our solution
We completely overhauled We-Vibe’s approach to product launch messaging. For each new product, we made sure we were clear on exactly who we were talking to and what we wanted them to walk away knowing (and doing), before writing a word of copy.
Taking the time to nail the positioning and Voice of Customer research, we created Product Launch Messaging Guides. These guides clearly laid out each product’s key messages and overall strategy.
We did this for each new product coming into their catalog, assessing both how it fit into their overall product lineup as well as where it should stand in the overall category and market.
From there we were able to focus on creating copy that was both on-brand and designed to convert. We created copy for all of their launch assets — from packaging to web copy to in-store marketing. Having the messaging guide in place meant copy flowed easily, each piece fitting together to form a powerful whole.
The outcome
After working with us to define their product launch messaging and craft their copy, We-Vibe’s next launch resulted in their highest-selling product — they flew past their sales target and beat their previous top performer’s sales by 60%.
They also had a resource that they could share across the company — making the product’s positioning, target customer, voice and tone, USPs and sales messages clear and accessible to everyone who needs to understand them.
