The project
A complete rebrand for Together in tech (though when they came to us they were called the Women in Tech Club) — a global community helping people in tech build confidence, connection, and careers they love.
We started with brand strategy and a new name, then took it all the way through to creative direction, a new website, and a tone of voice that did justice to the community they were creating (and the people behind it).
The challenge
Together in Tech had a really cool community and vibe — but their brand didn’t reflect it.
They’d built an active community, but from the outside, they looked like just another meetup. The name, visuals, and messaging didn’t convey what made them so special, and they were struggling to attract the kind of partnerships and visibility they needed to grow.
The challenge was to create a brand that could match the quality of what was happening behind the scenes: one that felt confident, human, and credible enough to represent a global movement.
How we tackled it
We led a complete rebrand, from strategy to creative direction and web design.
We began with brand workshops and audience interviews to understand the emotional core of the community and what members truly valued. What emerged was clear: Together wasn’t just a professional network. It was a deeply human space for people to find belonging, confidence, and connection in tech. And it definitely wasn't just for women.
From that insight, we built a new brand strategy, messaging, and visual direction grounded in authenticity and warmth. We renamed the organisation Together in Tech, crafted a fresh visual identity and website, and developed a tone of voice that balanced professionalism with heart.
The result was a brand that finally felt like the community it represented: real, confident, and bold.
The Strategy
The brand workshops surfaced two things that reshaped the project.
The first was about who the community was for. Together had started as a meetup for women in tech, but the founder's real vision was a tech community that was better and more human for everyone, regardless of gender. The brand needed to match that vision — which meant moving away from a gendered name and positioning.
The second came from looking around at the competitive landscape. There were tons of tech meetups out there, but none were doing what Together was doing: creating a really positive, highly engaged community focused on the soft skills you need for a successful tech career.
The conversations in the community were about confidence, imposter syndrome, belonging, and the work of building a career you actually like. That was the real point of difference: a very human tech community.
I’m here “because there’s no bootcamp for imposter syndrome,” one of the Together community members said. That pretty much summed what Together was here for.
A new name (Together in Tech) that opened the community up beyond gender
A messaging platform built around the human work of a tech career, not the technical one
A tone of voice that balanced professionalism with heart — credible enough for partnerships, warm enough to feel like a place where you could meet your next best friend
A visual identity that felt modern and bold, just like the people Together in tech was trying to attract
Web copy that spoke directly to the loneliness, doubt, and imposter syndrome that almost every member of the community spoke about when we talked to them
From there, every decision was a translation of that strategy:

The rebrand gave Together in Tech the clarity, credibility, and confidence to grow into the global organization they are today.
With a clear story, distinctive voice, and polished online presence, they were able to secure high-profile partnerships, sell out events, and dramatically expand their reach.
What was once a small community project now stands as an international movement: a brand that people trust, want to join, and want to work with.
Together in Tech’s new brand has become a powerful foundation for everything they’ve built since. Proof of what happens when thoughtful strategy and creative direction come together.
